Anwick Forge is owned and run by husband and wife team, Tim and Fran Mackereth.

Tim Mackereth is an award-winning and passionate blacksmith with wide-ranging engineering and project management experience. His fascination with ‘moving metal’ and his enduring curiosity for discovering what the metal is capable of mean that the boundaries of Anwick Forge’s technical and creative competences are constantly being expanding.

Fran Mackereth complements Tim’s technical and creative skills with her organisational competence and commercial know-how. Her skills and experience ensure that Anwick Forge offers its customers an all-round service of the highest professional standard that extends well beyond just ‘hitting metal’.

Tim and Fran are currently supported by a fantastic team of three professional blacksmiths, Darren Pullen, Joe Mason and Amos Stewart. However, they fully expect this close-knit team, whose whole really is greater than the sum of its parts, to grow further as this thriving forge goes from strength to strength.
