This galvanised steel edging & mesh provided the finishing touch to the RHS's 'Growing Tastes' garden
Hot on the heels of our collaboration with Adam Frost and New Ground Landscapes at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, we worked together again at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. This time we were working on the RHS's own show garden, rather than competing for medals - although this didn't mean that the pressure to deliver excellence to a tight deadline was any less!
The RHS 'Growing Tastes Kitchen Garden' reflected the current trend for growing one's own vegetables and consisted of three separate gardens inspired by British, Mediterranean and Asian cuisine. Built by Adam Frost and his team, Anwick Forge produced and installed several hundred metres of glavanised steel edging for each and every one of the garden's many separate beds, the galvanised steel cladding for the giant planters that contained many of the garden's trees, and the galvanised steel mesh in the panels that divided off different parts of the garden and up which various plants grew.
The metalwork completed the garden's contemporary and stylish look that clearly went down very well with the large number of visitors to the garden.
