Gallery - The Lady of Shalott
The Lady of Shalott aboard her 'carriage'!
We invariably deliver and install all our ironwork ourselves as Anwick Forge's professional standards mean that we like to see every job through to completion.  From a more practical point of view, we find it is also more efficient and effective as we then don't need to sub-contract with anyone else - which we find saves both time and money.
Although The Lady of Shalott is very tall (c.4.5m), she is relatively light as each stalk is hollow, as are the spheres that form the ears of wheat, making her really quite easy to transport to her final resting place.
To see her in situ on the banks of the River Witham just to the east of Lincoln, see the next image in this section of the gallery.
