Anwick Forge was represented at the official opening of The Garden of Remembrance which was conducted by HRH The Princess Royal. Although we knew that Neil Everall and Air Vice-Marshal Grahame Jone CBE (the members of the RAFA team that we had worked with throughout the project) were delighted with the result, the sculpture's success would ultimately be decided by the membership.  We were therefore very proud - and very humble - to receive a round of applause when the RAFA President thanked us in his address for our contribution to the garden.

Air Vice-Marshal Grahame Jones CBE said "Anwick Forge has been a key part of the team that has brought the remembrance garden to life, for which the forged stainless steel eagle and globe are superb examples of artistry combined with the highest levels of craftsmanship. The forge ensured throughout the design and build of the remembrance garden that we have been able to keep to time and deliver on budget".
